What Our Guests Say

We take pride in serving our guests with the best experience. Read what they say.

“While in Ghana, I worked on three different projects. Using my experience in teaching, I sat in on classes at the Happy Kids School and assisted in teacher evaluations. This project included collaborating with Godsway and the school principal to take effective notes on teacher performance in areas ranging from interactions with students to following their lesson plans.

The second project I worked on was calculating a food budget for the Happy Kids children’s home. I monitored weekly spending and compared that to the proposed budget from the administration. I found spending to be over budget and was able to suggest ways based on the meal plans for the children to buy in bulk and save on food expenditures.

Overall, my experience in Ghana was filled with opportunities to learn, contribute, and have fun. I learned just how bad I was at soccer as I was continually outplayed by eight-year-olds. I learned so many things about culture and about the development process that you are unable to learn in a book. If you decide to travel to Ghana, which I strongly encourage you to do, I urge you to keep an open mind, have a strong desire to learn, to try your best, and to have fun”

I am extremely proud to be part of Impact Xperience’s missions.

I am a software developer and I have been providing career/education resources as well as counselling for the high school students and youths that Impact Xperience has been working with for the last 3 years.

It’s always refreshing to share my experience and knowledge in Computer Programming, Coding, and Software Development with young people, and joining Godsway on his mission to make resources and knowledge to the youths in Ghana just feels so right.

“You are welcome.” “You are invited.” I heard these words over and over during my recent trip to Ghana in West Africa.

I want to give a huge shout-out to my guide, Godsway Tek. Godsway is devoting considerable energy, heart & soul into community education, development, and youth programs in Ghana. If you are looking for more meaning in your life (and who isn’t?) check him out for a volunteer tourism experience. Proceeds from using his services will go towards building an after-school community center to serve rural children at risk. The community center will not only offer educational programs and academic enrichment but the mentoring and supportive environment these kids need to thrive.

Godsway can customize a tour to your interests and make connections all along the way. He knows his country, his history, and even better, a large network of people. We went to sites I already had on my list, such as Cape Coast Castle (an incredibly moving experience), Kakum National Park canopy walk, and the glorious Wli waterfall.

In addition, Godsway took us to local art markets and small rural villages to visit with families. We spent an afternoon at Nzulezo, the 400-year old village on water and spoke with folks there about their needs: teachers and education resources, and assistance is making their hand-crafted woodwork a more lucrative resource. These are projects which Godsway can facilitate that will have immediate impact. On my last night in the Volta region, Godsway arranged for a drumming and dance concert. Hearing the stories behind the songs and movements from the dancers themselves was a remarkable end to an incredible experience.
